Psychotherapy is a process built on empathy. We begin with a positive relationship between therapist and client and use that relationship to explore a client’s past and the ways that past is still present in unconscious actions and beliefs. Through psychotherapy, clients learn to connect to their own feelings and find clarity and ease with their inner, sometimes wounded, parts. In learning to communicate with ourselves and meet our own needs, we can learn to communicate and relate to others more effectively and harmoniously.
