Hypnotherapy is a type of psychotherapy that allows clients to explore the emotional factors underlying their own behavior while in a hypnotized state. It is not a forceful reprogramming of the mind. It is, rather, a gentle process of changing one’s relationship to difficult experience using the power of relaxation, identification, and positive affirmation.

Weight Loss:

Develop healthy relationships to diets and food through hypnosis! Working with clients to access the subconscious parts of their minds through relaxation and suggestion, I help them recognize and gain control over the emotional factors underlying their eating habits.

Quitting Smoking:

Learn to stop smoking and stay quit! Using a four-session model, I help clients recognize and gain control over the emotions underlying their cravings for cigarettes, and how to eliminate these through implanting positive suggestions in their minds.

Treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder:

Learn to let go of painful experiences from the past! Using techniques of relaxation and age-regression, I help clients create a safe space in which they can revisit and heal their experiences with violence, helplessness, humiliation, and loss.

Anxiety:

Learn to stop worrying! Using techniques of relaxation, breath-work, and focusing, I help clients find the source of their anxiety and develop healthy self-esteem in relation to their stresses.

Addiction:

Learn to treat addictive behavior and prevent relapsing! Working with clients to access the unconscious anger and resentment underlying their compulsive behavior, I help them let go of their addictions to drugs, alcohol, sex, and shopping, and to strengthen their sense of self-worth.

Fears and Phobias:

Learn to move beyond irrational feelings of panic and dread! Using techniques of relaxation and age-regression, I help clients locate the unconscious conflicts underlying their fears and phobias, and to move forward in their lives and relationships.

Life Transitions:

Learn to face the future with confidence! Using techniques of relaxation and positive suggestion, I help clients develop new, healthy relationships to their experiences with breakup, job loss, immigration, and death.
